18.5 or a bit more mb of download.. hey, it gave me enough time to a) realise they updated something b) check out guildwars.com and see what was updated and c) read this entire threat.. and.. impatiently wait for it to finish, only to immediatly forget how much the total download really was.

*edit: and why did I think the download would be done by the time we can log in instead of realiseing it would still be downloading after log in?

The update came literally seconds after I had made a new PvE Necro. Immediately after spawning into Pre-Searing I updated my GW build, and then deleted my new char to get the headpiece with a new one. They changed around the order of character creation. You choose your armor colors first now (instead of last). This was my first screen:

Anyway, the total download is 479MB. Yes, really.

The reason these maps are being streamed now is presumably because they'll be used in the upcoming preview event.

The way to avoid downloading those 479 megs is presumably to not let your computer idle at the log-in screen - log in & start playing instead.

Quit whining Beo. They put the Lt's helm on PvP creation last update and nerfed the PvE version. Yet, they STILL haven't done anything about all those old "overpowered" items out there. (20/20 Rockmolder, HoD sword, 15% FFS)

the kool thing is when you create a pvp char, u can see all the new skills they have for the core professions, however they are unlocked and there is no skill description ;(

omg theres 2 types of new minions, one thats vampiric

its called Animate Vampiric Horror

and the new factions armors, the sentinels armor for warriors give +100, sheesh thats heavy armor, u have to have 13 strength however

Wow, it's true - the Lions Arch & Ascalon skill trader has all unlocked skills now. Well, unless it's a bug and they fix it immediately, a lot of low-level alts are going to zip through the game very quickly now.

Actually, this makes sense, doesn't it? You've unlocked the skills, so why shouldn't you be allowed to buy them for your alt?

There's lots more signets actually. Finally keystone might be worth taking.
